Hush Presents: Behind the Bouquet

After a wet and windy season, our shaker style kitchen is ready for Spring clean as we welcome a fresh season with open arms and a full bloom of florals for Hush Presents: Behind the Bouquet, in partnership with JJ Whitley.

As the buds across London spring into blossom, we’ve taken inspiration from JJ Whitley’s English countryside botanicals and rambled through the hedgerows to create four new refreshing cocktails full of all the joys of Spring. Pass through our blooming bouquet archway and you’ll discover a secret garden in the heart of Mayfair, featuring an abundance of pastel colours, a living garnish wall and a ceiling of beautiful draping wisteria. Hush is more than just a generic commercial kitchen design, we offer you next level eating out experiences.

We’ll be guiding you Behind the Bouquet to learn the secret language of flowers, and the different meanings of each colour and blossom, step into this incredible mindset. Expect shades of peony pink, which signifies passion, sentiment and love, iris purple for dignity, tradition and success and pale lavender for youth, elegance and grace – all qualities we’re quite happy to welcome!

Toast to all this floribundance with four new cocktails showcasing JJ Whitley’s flavoursome collection, created exclusively by Hush Bar Manager Davide Gagliazzo. Keep it sweet and playful with Strawberry Picking (JJ Whitley Strawberry Gin, strawberry liqueur, sweet vermouth, prosecco and ginger ale) or try a British twist on an old classic with a Rhubarb Negroni (JJ Whitley Rhubarb Vodka, Campari and Dolin Rouge vermouth). For something with a bit of freshness and tang, the Sherbet Lemon (JJ Whitley Elderflower Gin, Italicus, Bergamot sherbet and tonic) will take you back to post-school pick ‘n’ mix, or dream of sunlit garden soirees with the smooth and sophisticated Meadow Martini (JJ Whitley Artisanal Vodka, Lillet Blanca and orange bitters).

This enchanted eden is not one to be missed: visit Hush from Monday 16th March and enjoy Behind the Bouquet. profhilo
