Celebrating Cherry Blossom Season with Sakurao Gin and Franklin & Sons
After the early promise of sunshine, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Spring, with its promise of warm weather, longer days, and the full bloom of Sakura, Hush’s latest courtyard transformation.
Join us this season as we are partner with Sakurao Gin and Franklin & Sons to create this new Spring spectacular. Sakurao pays homage to the wonders of the Japanese countryside, containing botanicals collected from Hiroshima Prefecture, whilst Franklin & Sons is an award-winning range of tonics and mixers using only natural flavours and colours. The two go together like, well, the perfect gin and tonic.
Our courtyard will be in full blossom from 11th March as Sakura – meaning cherry blossom in Japanese – will transform our iconic cobbles into a Japanese paradise of pink florals, delicate cherry blossoms and a show stopping archway sure to transport you to the gardens of Tokyo.
Working with Sakurao and Franklin & Sons, our bar manager William Solorzano has created four cocktails to celebrate the arrival of cherry blossom season, all of them guaranteed to leave you budding for more. For a refreshing quencher, try our Paradise Garden with Sakurao Gin, Fresh Mint, Cucumber, Lime, Elderflower and Franklin & Sons tonic, or freshen up with a twist on the alcoholic iced tea, Spring it on, with Sakurao Gin, Italicus, Honey, Lemon Peel and Franklin & Sons Grapefruit Tonic with Bergamot. Capture the colours of spring with an In full bloom spritz with Sakurao Gin, Vermouth, Orange peel, Rosemary, Luc Belaire Gold and Franklin & Sons Soda.
